Wedding Band Swanton Morley Norfolk!

Adam and his contemporary wedding band help Alex and Jon celebrate in style to the sound of swing at Hunters Hall in Norfolk.

Hunters Hall is a real hidden gem, set in landscaped grounds in Swanton Morley, a beautiful, traditional village set in the heart of the Mid-Norfolk countryside, just outside the market town of Dereham.

It was here, with light pouring in to the small yet spacious setting of the Hall's Park Room, that Alex and Jon had chosen to host their simple afternoon ceremony, with an evening of swing following the exchange of vows they'd written together, and the toasts of friends and family.

The atmosphere on the day was great, with the buzz of a group of friends gathered together; Jon and Alex had gone for an informal style, with a pastel colour theme; Alex wore the lightest blush of delicate mauve silk, which was the perfect accent to Jon's pale blue tie; soft pink roses and creamy orange carnations sat demurely on tables clothed in rich cream linens. In the sculpted swathes of parkland, a marquee was waiting to welcome guests, all wearing casual clothing in a rainbow of light, blushed hues, to an evening that would see them swinging through a modern medley of bold, bright tunes, music which contrasted and complemented the subdued palette of the day.

Alex & Jon: "We just want to express our appreciation for Adam and his band; our day was probably a little bit different to most weddings, but we're a little bit different to most couples, and we wanted something that would reflect that. When we came across the concept of “modern swing”, it sounded fun, quirky, and completely different – exactly like us, in fact!"
