Supplying the wedding band Musical Orphans at the Savoy in London
In the video to the right is me singing Just the way you are towards the very end of the evening (please note it is filmed and recorded on a phone).
So we have all heard of the Savoy in London and I have been lucky enough to have performed there on quite a few occasions with each time being slightly different supplying either one of my wedding bands or on a few occasions being the wedding singer for the daytime celebrations and wedding breakfast, But on Saturday 22nd April 2017 I was proud to be apart of this special day for the new Mr and Mrs Harkness.
Arriving at the venue we were greeted by the wonderful staff at London's Savoy hotel and guided into the grand Ballroom. We got everything set up and ready for when the bridal party enter for dinner. Directly in front of the stage was a gold mirrored dance floor with a stunning 4 tier wedding cake placed in the middle ready to be cut and as soon as the first piece was sliced the band started the night with the first dance L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole.
The party started from the moment the bride and groom has asked me to invite their guests onto the dance floor to join them for the second half of the song and that's where they remained for the rest of the evening. So a big thank you to all the dancers that stayed with us until midnight to keep the wedding celebrations going.
The bride had a personal trainer to get in such good shape for the wedding so I asked for the details to share on my website. Check her out here talking about her wedding fitness plans and giving away free fitness tips for your big day.
