Nothing lost as Adam Chandler plays for Amy & Dean

Playing in their home county of Kent, Adam Chandler and his swing band found it easy to create a stunning wedding reception soundtrack for Amy and Dean, who were celebrating in the elegant, step-back-in-time setting of the Lost Village of Dode, a truly stunning, wholly romantic setting, where swing blended perfectly with the landscape.

Amy and Dean's wedding was themes of red, with roses and carnations from deepest crimson to palest pink arranged along the two long banquet tables, and around the dance floor. Falling like petals, the sounds of Adam Chandler's swing band matched the flowers for their elegance and timeless perfection, as the professional musicians, all with several years of touring and performance experience, played classic swing sounds from the the '20s and '30s, sounds which seemed to have been created for this venue

Playing as a five piece band, Adam's musicians began with a light medley of selections from classic show tunes, leading on to bold, brassy numbers that had everyone up on the dance floor, smiles on their faces, a sense of timeless magic falling over the venue; in the Lost Village of Dode, romance and style were certainly found that night.

Swing is the perfect soundtrack to a wedding, or any other celebration, and a great way to express feelings that can be difficult to put into words.
