Wedding Band performing Live in Halstead Essex
Eric and Sarah become family with Musical Orphans
Blended aesthetics really work for the White Hart's Essex Barn, which is a deceptively simple venue, and perfect for smaller weddings where style is still very much required.
Weddings such as Eric and Sarah's special day, which took a Beauty and the Beast theme, and made it very grown up, with a dress code of “untamed desires, and innocence destroyed”, and a cryptic brief for Adam Chandler's musicians; “Choose songs that leave people wondering if their enjoyment is okay or not.”
Getting married is a deeply personal affair, and, dark undercurrents of theme aside, Eric and Sarah's celebration certainly brought out the best in the couple, with the groom stepping out in all over pearl-white, sullied with a vibrant black splash across the back of his jacket, while the bride wowed her guests as she arrived wearing a cloak of faux wolf fur over a sleek grey dress.
Songs from Disney mingled with the soulful strains of the Fifty Shades movies, while personal favourites, chosen by the couple, hit brighter notes.
Tigers tap danced, lions lounged, wolves waltzed, and shadowy dreams slipped through the crowd, as Musical Orphans orchestrated a night where desire danced around its own destructive flame, the patterns creating the beauty of a new love, and new life, as Eric and Sarah stepped out, for the first time, as man and wife.
Eric:"We wanted a wedding with a difference, and Musical Orphans certainly gave us that, bringing in the edge that really tied everything together, and made the whole evening work perfectly. Thanks, Adam – definitely a thumbs up from this happy groom."
Sarah:"The music couldn't have been better! We'd been deliberately vague with our brief, but Adam's interpretation was spot on – definitely a man for those looking for talent and professionalism."
