A hidden gem delights family and friends at a country wedding at Rectory Farm hotel.

A real hidden gem, Rectory Farm is a subtly beautiful country hotel, which provides the perfect setting for a low-key yet stylish wedding, which was exactly what Tony and Jenny wanted, and exactly the kind of event that Musical Orphans can make truly magical.

Tony's musical tastes run to soul and jazz, while Jenny's are Celtic ballads and contemporary pop songs, and they knew they wanted a wedding reception disco that combined elements that each of them would relate to. It was a challenge, but one Musical Orphans were more than capable of rising to.

We started with soft, soulful sounds to get everyone in the mood, then, as the evening progressed, we moved on to livelier numbers that soon had everyone dancing, and smiles on the faces of both bride and groom – definitely a result!

It was a genuine pleasure to be in this stunning setting, watching two people start their life together on exactly the right note.
